In this guide we will look at the Aundae clan, its attributes and related quests.

  • slide 1 of 4

    The Aundae clan

The Aundae clan is based in the Ashmelech cavern, situated on a small island southwest of Dagon Fel. Some of the clan members offer services in the headquarters, such as Gladroon, who sells armor supplies or Mororurg who sells potions and alchemical ingredients for your potions. This clan favours magic and attributes related to the arcane arts. They are dark mages and masters of mind spells, and prefer to hunt their prey in this manner.

The leader of the Aundae clan is Dhaunayne Aundae, who is a female of the Altmer elven race, appropriate to the race special abilities and skills. As the leader she is the one who hands out quests and rewards the player.

There are also vampires of this bloodline who have decided against become fully fledged clan members and living as renegade vampires. They are situated in the Dulo Ancestral Tomb, west of Tel Uvirith in the Molag Amur region, and the Aralen Ancestral Tomb which is south of the Zainab Camp.

    Attributes

The favoured attribute for this clan is Willpower, and they gain a favourable point bonus. An initial 20+ point bonus to Willpower is added once you join this clan. You are also assigned point bonuses on skills related to the arcane. A 20+ point bonus is issued to the schools of Mysticism and Destruction, which contain spells like energy absorption or fire balls. The same bonus is also given to the short blade skill, making the vampire mages good with the daggers, short swords and similar should magic not be enough.

    Friends and Foes

The enemies and allies do not differ for any of the vampire clans. They are the same as outlined in the previous guide. You should always avoid members of the opposing clans.

    Clan Quests

The quests of this clan are interesting, particularly the one related to the blood ties of the clan leader. She will ask you to find out what happened to her son, whom she gave birth to before becoming infected and subsequently clan leader. On the start of this quest you receive a ring engraved with the family crest, and you are asked to begin your search in Sadrith Mora, exactly in the Mages Guild.

Another quest is slaying a vampire hunter in Ald’Ruhn. This can be quite problematic and you need to be quick, since it is asked that you do this in full daylight hence taking constant damage to your initial health.
