    Knight – Knights are noble of intent, governed by oaths and always serving the emperor or state. Major Skills include Long blade, Axe, Heavy armor. Minor skills are Restoration, Mercantile and Medium Armor.

    Mage – A mage can use any spells from any school, or can choose to specialise in schools which he favours. The different with a battlemage is in the fact that he cannot wear heavy, medium or light armor. Major skills: All magic schools including Mysticism, Destruction, Alteration and Illusion. Minor skills: The school of conjuration, alchemy and some short blade skills.

    Monk – Seeker of intense focus when fighting, and always maintaining strict discipline in day to day life. A monk fight using his fists or his feet and legs. Major skills: Hand-to-hand, Unarmored, Athletics. Minor skills: Block, Marksman and Restoration.

    Nightblade – Similar to the thief or rogue class, but they can use magic to enhance their abilities. Major skills: Mysticism, Illusion and Sneak. Minor skills: Light Armor, Magic school of destruction and Security skills.

    Pilgrim – Pilgrims are travellers of a religious nature, seeking to find knowledge and truths relating to their beliefs. Major skills: Speechcraft, Mercantile and Restoration school. Minor skills: Illusion school, Hand-to-hand and Alchemy.

    Rogue – This class favours opportunity, and is quite varied. Major skills: Short Blade, Mercantile, Axe. Minor Skills: Block, Medium armor and Speechcraft.

    Scout – A scout is a stealthy and methodical fighter and prefers ranged weapons. Major skills are Sneak, Long Blade and Medium Armor and minor ones are Marksman, Light Armor and Alteration magics.

    Sorcerer – In morrowind a sorcerer relies mostly on summoning creatures and creating gems enchanted with powers. They always seek magic items, such as rings for instance. Major skills: Enchant, Conjuration and Destruction schools of magic. Minor Skills: School of Illusion, Medium Armor and Marksman.

    Spellsword – These are mages who work with the Emperor or state in order to help knights and fighters in battle. Major skills: Block, Restoration school and Long Blade. Minor skills: Blunt weapon, the schools of Enchanting and Alchemy.

    Thief – Self explanatory class, favouring stealth over close fighting. Morrowind has an interesting Thief guild which builds you all the way up to a criminal mastermind. Major skills: Security, Sneak and Acrobatics. Minor skills: Marksman, Speechcraft and Mercantile.

    Warrior – Experts at close fighting of any kind, they can either work on their own as treasure hunters or work with Imperial Forces. Trained in all weapons and can wear all types of armor, although they prefer heavy armor. Major skills: Long Blade, Medium Armor and Heavy Armor. Minor Skills: Armorer, Spear and Marksman.

    Witchhunter – An interesting class dedicated to seeking and eliminating all that which is profane or considered beastly. For instance, they seek vampires, werewolves or necromancers. Major Skills: Schools of Conjuration, Enchanting and Alchemy. Minor Skills: Unarmored, Block and Blunt Weapon.
