In the first part we discussed what defines a class in Morrowind, and what part race and gender play. Here are all the pre-defined classes in the game, discussed in detail.
Acrobat – An acrobat has a nimble and flexible body, being able to jump to great heights or climb any kind of terrain. Mostly they are thieves or burglars, and would rather run than fight. They are specialized in Stealth and their primary attributes are Agility and Endurance. Some major skills include Acrobatics and Athletics and minor skills include hand-to-hand combat, light armor and spear.
Agent – The agent is specialized at gathering information, either for a government organization or working privately for a guild. They are also trained in defending themselves effectively and can use deadly force if needed. Major skills are Speechcraft, sneak and short blade, whilst minor ones are mercantile skills, unarmored and the magic school of illusion.
Archer – Specialist in using ranged weapons. Major skills are Marksman, Block and Long Blade whilst minor skills are Unarmored, spear and the magic school of Restoration.
Assassin – The assassin works for an organization or guild, and emerges from the shadows to eliminate his target undetected. Major Skills are Sneak, Marksman and Light Armor, minor ones are Security, Long Blade and the Alchemy skill.
Barbarian – They favour freedom, and are usually display great range and fierceness in combat. Major skills are Axe, Medium Armor and Blunt Weapon. Minor skills are Acrobatics, Marksman and Armorer.
Bard – A bard is always looking for new lore and stories to add to his repertoire. They can fight or cast spells. Major skills are Speechcraft, Alchemy and Long Blade whilst minor skills are Mercantile, magic school of Illusion and Security.
Battlemage – A Battlemage is both a spellcaster prepared for war, and a good close fighter with appropriate armor and weapons. Major skills are the magic schools of Alteration, Destruction and Conjuration and minor skills include the school of Mysticism, Long blade and Marksman.
Crusader – A warrior who also has spellcasting abilities, similar to a Paladin. Major skills are Blunt weapon, Long blade and Heavy armor whilst minor skills are the schools of Restoration and Alchemy and hand-to-hand combat.
Healer – Similar to a cleric, they devote their ability to cast specifically to aiding people. They can cure diseases, poisons, health damage or magical effects. Major skills are the schools of Restoration, Mysticism and Alteration and minor ones are the schools of Illusion and Alchemy, and the Light armor skills.
